April 11th 1912 the RMS Titanic set set sail from Southampton England across the North Atlantic to New York City harbor. However, in the wee hours of April 14th it struck an iceberg which caused the ship to capsize and sink, resulting in over 1,500 fatalities, making it the deadliest marine disasters to occur during peacetime. This newspaper was printed 5 days later in memorial of those lives lost and the report of what happened that fateful night in April of 1912.
